“I’ve used Gary’s training methods and programs since I first started working with him back in 1996. Since then I have tried some different personal trainers and have always returned to Gary’s programs because I’ve always felt the strongest when I was using them.
I’ve hired Gary as my personal trainer again this year in 2004. Gary’s been there and he knows motocross from the inside out”.
“One of the biggest turning points in Jeremy’s improvement as an intermediate was The Gary Semics M-X School.“(Jack McGrath)
“Gary; thanks for your personal help throughout my career. Your methods and strategies made my practice and training time much more effective.”(Jeremy McGrath)
Hello David, Gary and All :
I just wanted to write and thank you all for the lesson on Friday.
I do believe I learned a lot and with much, much practice I’ll be a better and faster rider. I do appreciate David spending time and having the patience to watch a beginner (me) and try to help me. I know you say “if it was easy everybody would be doing it”…Must be your right. It seems to come slowly…Maybe its like a 1000 piece puzzle and each day of practice puts another piece together…But it is fun it go through a turn faster and be in control.
Oh it was an honor to be on the same track with Gary… He looks race ready, fit and fast….
So thanks to all. I had a great day.
this is Jared McConnaughey I went to the last class in 2009 and I just wanted to tell you how much it helped me with my weekly training.
Since taking your class I have done a lot of work and have recently bumped up to b class. Your class gave me not only the skill that I needed to advance in this rough sport, but also a butt load of confidence knowing that I was tought by the man who trained all of guys I look up to, and one of the best trainers around.
I just wanted to say thanks for everything you do, and see how the moto school is doing. I’m thinking of coming back up to Lisbon this coming year for another class.
Keep it up you don’t know how much it means to riders like me to train with you.

Gary and Cindy:
I want to thank you for the great time my son and I had and the great lessons on motocross technique you taught.
We hit the practice track Sunday right after school and worked on the cornering techniques and controls and what a difference I can feel in my ability, confidence, control, and speed.
I’m also very glad we purchased the training manual; it reminded us of the lessons and helped us apply the proper technique.
I’m sure my son and I will return for another class in the fall or spring. I’ll let everybody I ride with what great lessons you share through your program.
Jamie and Corey Byron
Hey Gary Semics:
I attended your school in April (19th and 20th I think) and my dad and I plan on attending GSMXS again in April.
Your motocross school really helped me improve and I’m really going faster in the corners thanks to you.

PS – I saw you in Racer X Magazine!
Gary, my son Jake (15) and I really enjoy your videos. We have all of volume 3 and are looking forward to the next video. I am amazed how fast Jake has improved just by watching your videos and practicing the techniques. Jake moved up to a 250 last April and is usually one of the fastest riders at the tracks, thanks to the techniques you teach. Jake is going to try to qualify for Loretta’s in the 250B class this next year. Just wanted to say thanks.
Your website say the next video will be out soon. Is there any way we can preorder the video?
I’m a new user of the Gary Semics motocross training DVD series which I stumbled on one day while searching the internet for training aids. As a 41 year old brand new rider with a 7 year old who loves to ride as much as I do . . . well, suffice to say that Gary’s videos have been incredible. I bought his largest package and have learned so much in a short period of time.
Lastly, tell Gary (I’m assuming you’re related) that the “Goon Riding” was the funniest thing we’ve ever seen – mainly because it reminded my whole family (5 of us) EXACTLY what I looked like when I started riding for the first time this past May – what a grin!! It was priceless – absolutely priceless to see my family and myself laugh as hard as we did!!! Thanks for that.
Lastly, my son loves the Gary Semics T-shirt that came in our package, do you have them in X-Large? If yes, how much are they?
Thanks Cindy! Have a great weekend!!
(an extremely happy customer of the Gary Semics training system)
Hi Gary & Cindy,
Gary – your products are fantastic! I originally purchased a single streaming video to “test” your product. As a firm believer in getting information/instruction from someone who has “fruit on tree”, I wanted to see what you were about – AND YOU DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!
Within days, I returned to your site and purchased the largest package you offered – everything you had at the time (as I remember it) and that’s the subject of my inquiry. Since my purchase of the 2011 Everything Value Pack, you have produced two MUST HAVE videos (must have is my opinion of course) about jumping and scrubbing.
Do you have any discounts for folks like me that have purchased everything you produced at the time of order? I will be completely transparent and tell you that I am going to purchase them even if you don’t, I just thought you might have a discount code for folks that are 100% in with the Gary Semics program.
I will be giving your two newest videos to my son for Christmas.
PS – for what it’s worth, I’m 42 and only started riding 8 months ago. My son (7 yrs old – started riding 8 months ago too) and I are now “dirt bike buddies”! All we do with our free time is watch your videos, learn as much as we can, then take your book to the track to practice (riding only about 3 times a week right now)! We are doing our first race in Southern Utah this month (Dec 29th & 30) and we credit our confidence and desire to your training system.
Thanks again Gary, for reading this email, responding, and for taking the time to produce great videos that help beginners like me become decent riders in a short amount of time.
I look forward to hearing back from you!
I took one of Gary’s two day classes in Ohio 10-12 years ago when I was struggling in the C class. Prior to the class I had invested in all the hop up parts and suspension work I could afford and none of it made one shit bit of difference. Oh when I did case a jump it was smoother and my bike sounded bad ass but the trophies were few to nonexistent. I cannot stress how improved my whole skill set became after those two days. I have a barn full of trophies and one season championship under my belt (now retired from racing) and I really have to thank Gary for running a great program. BTW all that information helped me not only in MX but HS, GNCC, Ice Racing and Flat track.
If I were to do it again I would have gone to several of Gary’s classes when i was younger and only invested in better safety equipment.
BTW I’m not trying to spam Gary’s Schools but just giving you in my opinion the best advice I could to anyone who lines up on a gate.

My oh my what great memories I have hammering out countless hours of Semics drills. My dad was a tight ass & never sent me to his school, even thou we aren’t even 2 hours from his location. I myself was a beginner motocrosser that had only 3 harescramble races under my belt and laps put down on a couple backyard mx tracks.. So needless to say I wasn’t blitzing the whoops, railing berms or throwing fat whips. I was nothing more than a back marker in the 85cc 7-11 class of the local racing scene. I bullshit you not that within that same season I ended up beating kids that were waxing my ass at the start of it . Without a doubt the reason I made such quick improvements was by watching Semics VHS tapes (yes vhs) and religiously performing those drills for hours.. Turn tracks were what helped me the most, they’re the ticket.. I’d recommend any of his dvd’s or tapes.

Gary I totally respect you as a Championship competitor and an Instructor of the best of the best. I believe you are helping people enjoy the sport much more and reduce their chances of injury through better riding techniques. Before I used your Manual I was a middle of the pack rider. Then in the off season I bought and used your manual, I keep using it every time I practice and review it often. In the following 5 years I have won Regional and National titles in Vintage and Post Vintage MX in 100cc 125cc 250cc and 500cc Next year I’m going after Open Twin 650cc. Thank you for creating such an inexpensive comprehensive tool for us to use.

Gary, I’ve got most of your DVD’s and they’ve helped me a lot. But, your DVD MX Cornering Speed Beyond the Basics made a huge improvement for me. I watched it dozens of times and picked up a lot of things. It’s easily cut my lap times a few seconds a lap. Made a huge improvement with cornering in deep ruts, and saving energy too. Now deep ruts don’t bother me at all. That’s where I can make up a lot of time.
If any of you struggle with your cornering, and ruts. Get this DVD and study it, and watch it many times. It will help you.
Your videos are amazing. I love the clear ad concise method you convey difficult concept in an easy to understand manner. I switched from racing ATVA quad mx before going to A class in that discipline. Decided to take it to 2 wheels. Been on them 4.5-5 years, and some times before that. However I’m just now taking it serious. You program WORKS! The feeling of safety and implanting the movements into the CNS memory allows the rider to “adapt.” If this makes sense. I sent a friend request thinking it would be a great way to help you communicate with me if I have an issue. If not you are leaving behind a legacy man and I just wanted to say that’s something only great men get to leave behind. God Bless, Keep it fast, Keep it safe, and Keep up the good work. Thanks so much,
I just wanted to drop you a note, I purchased your DVD set 1-8, a few months ago and have watched all of them a few times and continue to do so. I just purchased your book manual so I can take it to the track. I started ridding when I was about six, stopped riding around 30, and started riding again at 50, because my son wanted to learn how. He’s been a snow skier since about 5.
Your videos are absolutely great, even though I thought I was a good rider, I had some bad habits that have made it much safer and stopped me from passing them off to my son.
Your videos are a great service to dirt bike riders safety and would and do recommend them to anyone who wants to have much more fun and be a safer rider.
Thank you and I hope you continue your success, you deserve it!
Happy New Year!!!
I have been watching your DVD’s since I purchased the everything pack and I am very excited to get back on the track and start applying all I have learned form your material, so glad I didn’t get back into it before watching your DVD’s because I would have fell back into some bad habits I never realized I was doing before the DVD’s. Long story short the format and teaching methods are excellent. I am very impressed.
Thanks again. Have a good one.

Gary, just got a chance to watch your new video “Motocross Skills for Vets”.
Great video, very informative, easy to follow. I love how you broke down the different areas.
Can’t wait to get out there and practice those techniques.
I began Gary’s training and diet program the end of May of 2007 when I weighed 180Lbs. My body fat was 28.7% and my endurance was pretty poor. I would fade out in a moto after 4 or 5 laps and come off the track very tired and worn out. The second motos were the same and I would find myself struggling to keep focused for the whole race.
